Repiping in Seattle
If your home is facing recurring plumbing issues, it might be time to consider repiping in Seattle. Older pipes often deteriorate silently over time, leading to leaks, poor water quality, and costly repairs. Knowing the signs early can help prevent extensive damage.
Common signs you may need a repipe:
- Low Water Pressure: Corroded or narrowed pipes reduce flow throughout your plumbing system.
- Discolored or Rusty Water: A clear sign of corrosion, especially in older galvanized steel lines.
- Frequent Leaks or Bursts: Multiple small leaks are often symptoms of a larger systemic issue.
- Visible Corrosion: Rust or buildup on exposed pipes often means hidden damage behind walls.
- Noisy Plumbing: Banging or rattling sounds can indicate loose or weakened pipe connections.
If you’ve noticed one or more of these issues, All Phase Plumbing can perform a full inspection to determine if repiping is the right solution for your home.

Seattle Repipe: Common Pipe Materials We Replace
Many older homes in Seattle still contain outdated plumbing materials that can cause frequent leaks and water quality issues. Here’s what we often replace:
- Galvanized Steel: Prone to rust and buildup, restricting water flow.
- Polybutylene: A brittle plastic used in the ‘70s–‘90s known for cracking and unexpected failure.
- Aged Copper Pipes: Can develop pinhole leaks over time, especially in areas with acidic water.
Modern Replacement Options:
- PEX (Cross-linked Polyethylene): Flexible, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for both hot and cold lines.
- New Copper Piping: A strong, reliable option that delivers excellent longevity when installed correctly.
By upgrading to these durable materials, you’ll enjoy a stronger, cleaner, and more efficient plumbing system for years to come.

Seattle Repiping FAQs
What is repiping and why is it necessary?
Repiping involves replacing your home’s entire water supply system with new pipes. It’s necessary when old, corroded, or leaking pipes can no longer be repaired effectively and are causing ongoing water pressure or quality issues. Call Us: (206) 772-6077
How long does a repiping project take?
Most residential repiping projects in Seattle take 1–3 days, depending on the size of the home and complexity of the system. We plan each step to minimize disruption and restore water service as quickly as possible. Call Us: (206) 772-6077
Will repiping damage my walls?
Our professional plumbers use precise techniques to minimize wall access points. Small openings may be made to reach pipes, but we handle patching and cleanup so your home looks as good as new when we’re finished. Call Us: (206) 772-6077
What materials are best for repiping in Seattle homes?
We commonly use PEX and copper due to their strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. PEX is flexible and ideal for cold climates, while copper offers excellent longevity and is perfect for homeowners who prefer metal piping. Call Us: (206) 772-6077
How much does repiping a home in Seattle cost?
The cost depends on your home’s size, the materials chosen, and the plumbing layout. We provide upfront, transparent estimates after a full inspection, so you’ll know exactly what to expect before work begins. Call Us: (206) 772-6077
How do I know if my home needs repiping or just pipe repair?
If leaks are isolated and your pipes are relatively new, simple repairs may be sufficient. However, frequent leaks, rusty water, or pressure issues across multiple fixtures often mean it’s time for a full repipe. Call Us: (206) 772-6077

What Our Customers Say About All Phase Plumbing
Posted on Crystal PalermoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Horrible absolutely horrible!! Don’t waist your time or money with this company. They need to really closed down until they get better employees and management. No care or sense of urgency. Company is un organized the employees are lazy. I have a leak and still have a leak. The person they sent over made me and my husband feel like it was a bothersome he was here to help. And he even told my husband that his company doesn’t pay him enough to crawl in crawl spaces. And as soon as I opened the crawl door my husband had like 5 mouse traps for caution. You could tell they had been there for like 5 to 10 years, cause the traps were really old looking no mice in them no rats in them. Some might’ve been triggered by maybe me stomping on the floor or something. The guy looked at them said I don’t do mice or rats and I’m like ok There’s none in there so go ahead. He went halfway in the crawl space and literally jumped back and said that he heard a mouse or a rat. Talked to my husband abt running a new line to avoid going under house and would email us an estimate. I didn’t receive one that day. so called office I I called office next morning day 2, was hoping it was a bad employee not the company. The lady that answered said she knew what I was talking abt and would get that estimate over to us. And have the manager call me. Not an I am sorry or even that she was shocked as to what I was telling her. Now Day three still no call or estimate. of course didn’t wait three days so I called another company. Day 2 They came crawled right up underneath the house. They did see two mummified rats, but they had been there for like years. He said at least 10 years. Andy’s plumbing really great guy, went under didn’t see any fresh activity of rodents. So the employee from all phase plumbing was a liar to top everything off. The leak is not even under the house, but still no estimate from all phase or a call from The manager and they was the first plumber we called. Worst company ever can’t believe they are actually in service.Posted on Aleen PinedaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The team at all phase were super! The team and Larry are so helpful! He wanted to save us money so he went on FaceTime and guided us through step by step and solved our problem without charging us any ‘money. He is courteous and professional. We highly recommend this company.Posted on Wilhelm OsternTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jason and Raymond were tremendous! They reviewed my issues, and went to work with great professionalism. They resolved most issues, as the others were out of there scope (and deeper problems). Providing a report with images, was tremendous, thus better understanding what was completed, and what the solutions are for the other parts. They were great. Thank you, w/Posted on M. They were running late from their previous job but kept us informed. They were unable to finish the job do to not having the part but came back first thing in the morning and finished. Both were very polite and helpful. Nice Guys !!!!!Posted on Smita BalasubramanianTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After a previous company had failed to resolve the issue, I called All Phase Plumbing. They came out on the day of the appointment, a tad ahead of schedule, provided excellent communication throughout, explained everything in detail, took care of the job, all in one visit. Caesar was great. He seems to know his stuff, was patient and friendly and provided a great experience overall. Definitely recommend them!
